Modelling Infectious Disease Spread and Control Strategies
Undergraduate Research Project at University of Birmingham
Developed and applied SIR models to study infectious disease dynamics. Conducted stability and threshold analyses to evaluate reproduction numbers and peak infections, applying the framework to influenza and SARS case studies. Utilised Python for stochastic modelling, simulations, and data visualisation.
Python Epidemiology Mathematical Modeling Data Visualisation Dynamical Systems
Fairness Testing of AI Models Using Genetic Algorithms
Intelligent Software Engineering at University of Birmingham
Designed and implemented a fairness testing framework for AI models using Genetic Algorithms to generate and evaluate discriminatory input pairs. Conducted experiments on large real-world datasets and performed statistical analysis in Python to improve bias detection.
